Welcome to Lukhendro Keisham's Blog

Blessed are not the child with silver spoons but with the grace of making it better. Curse are not the one with half meal a day but with the disgrace of making it worse. Success and failure happens to both, we are all the same, only a different package we comes in.

BEYOND DARK AND LIGHT

Written by Lukhendro Keisham

Which is right: to strive for one’s rights or respect others? If freedom is privacy then where is the truth? I believe we were molded on the choices of our ancestors, of what they wanted us to be. May it be color, taste, carrier, respect or freedom we select them on the basis of its consequences. Politics and religion has nothing to do with our problems and environments. They are the product of our unparallel parenting for a fearsome future. In order to achieve peace we once took the path of violence. Peace came but left the violence on its own.

There are many things we could do to live in peace and harmony among all people of Manipur, and certainly the world. Days are gone where we only dream of good food and brick walls. Now, we live by a code call vision. It is this vision we are forced to self compete to do much greater things in life. Talking about co-existence we are part of it too. We are not supporting peace by criticizing and questioning the system but make fools of ourselves. Though wrong or unfair if it benefits we don’t question. Since time immemorial we mostly worry for survival. The qualities of togetherness and peaceful living are left to rust within us unused.

Good time is what we long for. We eat and wear what our culture did not taught us. Drive, roam, live and exploit around without even knowing whose soil we are setting our foots. The fruits we enjoyed were never part of our culture. Having as many girlfriends and boyfriends from various communities, pleasuring on the thought of experiencing life and showing off dignity among friends are what we are in our truest forms. We enjoy all mischief from others and set aside our habits, land and sisters to be untouched. What an Idea Sirji, time for a Selfie. It’s like you take Selfies and joke around saying that Selfies are for selfish who don’t want others to come to the frame and make you look less attractive.

When we argue we bring forward even the leftovers. Rather than finding out solutions we are busy trying to be scholars posting, commenting, sharing and spreading conflicts. A friend of mine rightly updated, “Buy a Smartphone, add net pack, download Facebook and be a scholar”. Let’s stop self addressing as the best looking guy among friends. We may step into the shoes of other but can never be the person himself. Leave something for the experts and the elders too. We keep our personal space untouched and dig into others lavishly. For something which we can’t agree our friends will not agree either. After all we are friends and we know each other quite well. So sit down, have a cup of tea  together and work out what’s best.

After manipulating all types of gizmo lifestyles we are now back trying to be a sensible indigenous human. The truth is neither one of us don't care who we are nor how we end up to our respective birth places. Fame and price are what we like to be remembered in our honest senses. Modesty was just a divergent to achieve our devilish wish. Culture is an article we just read, an incomplete shadow foretold from ages but never seen. Throw yourself the questions you throw to other. No matter in which language the song is, if good everyone will love to listen. What’s in a move which make us hate and kill each other? Let’s control our unparallel emotions and think beyond. There is much more life beyond the dark and the light. Each one of us is part of a culture in the making if you could understand.
