Welcome to Lukhendro Keisham's Blog

Blessed are not the child with silver spoons but with the grace of making it better. Curse are not the one with half meal a day but with the disgrace of making it worse. Success and failure happens to both, we are all the same, only a different package we comes in.

Tiddim 34

A rock band with my childhood friends. The concept came up during those early youth when we were in eight grade high schools with the hype to play music and sound like one. Discussing our likes and dislikes daily at evening hang outs the Tiddim 34 gets molded up. Highest influences goes to the youthful attitudes hunger to show off. The source code of the name Tiddim 34 leads to Tiddim Road, the broadest inter state highway in Manipur with the add on of the last two digits of the area postel code, 795134.

The Beginning:

After my 8th standard high school examination I left boarding school and join school from home. It was a winter day after an evening walk when I set with Bagio and Kumarjit around a bonfire beside the Lower Primary School (L.P School) building and came up with the first comcept to rock with a band. With a very little knowledge of what a guitar is it was one dare act to ask my mon to buy me an aquistic guitar against the misconcepts of calling rock music as intoxicating and dirt oriented behaviours. I got my aqustic, Bagio got his and we started what our heart wants to take us.
Budha and Denaobi joins in the group and decided to join guitar classes. A bunch of teenage kids with an intention to form a rock band without the sense of the outcomes that will lead them to. One thing leads to another and those were the most memorable memories of our boyhood. Every morning we visited Vivek Sharma (Phoenix's lead guitarist) before our daily schools. If a day he cancells the class it was Keishamthong, Paona Bazar or movie theater people can trace us.

Buying Instruments:

Like most old school rock bands it was the same fate we faced to buy our music instruments. Bagio bought his bass guitar by selling off his gold earing unaware to his parents, I got mine from my Honda CBZ and the drums through an undisclosed way of struggle.

The Band:

Not just friends and band mates but families and more. We roan, drink and hang out all together as a team. Many a fun and secreats we share. Set the drums together, give a hand on string replacement, every moment count as the band began. It's not how much you can play, how technical and fast you can torture your instruments but your contribution to the friendship. Never to back walk at any brawl, win or loose, right or wrong, individually. Never a day we will wish to miss to hang out together. The world is changing but we don't need a change in this side of our lives.
