REUNION GROUP 2022


          After two years of pandemic break we had the annual gathering of ReUnion Group for the year 2022 on 17th July at Munpi Park located near Sadu Chiru Village from Tiddim Road. The day began with a tree plantation activity at the venue itself. All participating members planted atleast one  sapling each.

          The formal function began with a keynote address by Mr. Nilamani Thoudam followed by a silent condolence prayer in memory of Late Mr. Bikram Moirangtham who passed away on 18th June, 2022. He was an active member of the group and is 
survived by his wife and two little kids. Earlier the group donated Rs.30,000/- to the family for the irreversible loss.

          A
s a mark of respect to the seniormost member in the group Mr. Shyam Lourembam was given a special welcome aplause with a ceremonial shawl and the presidium chair of the day. Mr. Ithoiba Potshangbam presented the current financial status of the group. Apart from hosting the gathering as an experimental amcee I, Mr. Lukhendro Keisham brought forward and shared the future action plans for the group. First, in order to record the exact number of active members a refresher registration process will be taken up. And second, to pave a sustainable future for the group a project titled, "PROJECT HOME" was announced. It is a year long project where the ReUnion Group plans to own an immovable land property. After the announements the mandatory self introduction session of ReUnion Group begins. Here members come forward, self introduce themselves and express their opinions and feelings to rest of the group. Finally a short vote of thanks from Mr. Nilamani Thoudam and the formal function comes to a close. But the day was just getting started.

          After a swift group photo session it was time for the happy hour. This year anyone singing onstage was backed by professional musicians which the group had hired. While few sang their heart out other set down to relax and admire the moment. Lunch was served in between. Apart from tree plantation, formal function, photo session, music, outdoor cooking and the luncheon event T - shirt, badge and stickers for all participating members were also arranged.




FUTURE ACTION PLANS

1) RE - REGISTRATION:
- In order to record the exact number of active members a refresher registration process will be initiated. All members of the group are compulsion to register afresh with a registration amount of Rs.1/-. Payment of registration fee is valid only through online transfer. Those member who registared during RE - REGISTRATION will be accepted as official member of ReUnion Group and will be liable for any future programs and benefits of the group.

- Registration starts from 18th July, 2022. Last date of registration is 14th August, 2022 midnight.


2) PROJECT HOME:
- With an aim to pave a sustainable future ReUnion Group is planning to own an immovable land property at an estimated budget of Rs.10,00,000/-. "PROJECT HOME" will go live from 15th August, 2022 till 14th August, 2023.




MEMBER'S OPINION ON THE DAY

1) Host the next ReUnion gathering as a fund raiser event for the group. Example musical concert, sports event, tambola game, etc.

2) A cleanliness drive at Ima Market & banks of Kanglapat.

3) To start a monthly financial contribution for the group with a very reasonable amount.

4) Initiate a traffic awareness campaign in Manipur.

5) To open a bank account for ReUnion Group.

6) To set up a team/committee consisting of few members of ReUnion Group to initiate the projects.

7) To conduct a one day blood donation camp by members of ReUnion.

RULES & REGULATIONS
1) An amount of Rs.1,000/- per participating members is charged as contribution amount for self arrangements and organising the gathering. The contributed amount will be used for venue fee, tent house charges, material transportation vehicle, sound system, musicians, food & baverages, event T - shirt, event badge, event stickers, photo & videography, tree saplings, cook charges, printings, etc.

2) Any left over from the amount contributed will be kept as GROUP FUND for future use.

3) May be friend, driver, family, kids, colleague, etc. no members or any participating individuals including cook or helpers are allowed to bring extra individuals without prior permission from the organisers.

4) LET'S LEAVE A MARK: A total of 100 tree saplings are in receive from Manipur Govt.'s Forest Department which will be used for the tree plantation.

5) All members should report at the venue on or before 10:00 am of 17th July, 2022.
